Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has just six months left in the Premier League before he makes the move to Serie A to join Jose Mourinho at Inter, according to prominent Italian football agent Claudio Pasqualin.
The Italian champions are planning a summer raid of Anfield , with Gerrard on top of the 'Special One's' hit list.
"Teams are already working for the market in June and there will be surprises. Inter are working on the Steven Gerrard prospective given that Liverpool are in economic difficulty," Pasqualin told 'Radio Anchio Lo Sport' on Radiouno.
"There are a number of important names that will come out further into the future."
Mourinho recently hinted that he needs a midfielder to bolster his squad, telling Sky Sport Italia after his side's last-gasp win over Siena on Saturday: "I am certainly not asking for a striker."
